Associated Press called it âterrificâ, Entertainment Weekly deemed it “… a canny commingling of indie-pop jangle and unabashed arena rockâŠâ while Rolling Stone praised itâs ââŠrock and roll thrillers with punchy pop pleasâŠâ The band offered up the first taste of new music in late 2020 to preview the album – âChinatownâ ft. Bruce Springsteen and â45â followed by âStop Making This Hurtâ which they performed on NBCâs Late Night with Seth Meyers and âHow Dare You Want Moreâ which they debuted on NBCâs The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. âStop Making This Hurtâ has been nominated for a VMA award for Best Alternative video. This fall the band, known as one of the best live acts in the world, will be hitting the road on their âTake the Sadness Out of Saturday Nightâ headline tour.
This music is the follow up to their critically acclaimed second album, Gone Now, which came out on June 2nd, 2017. The first single âDonât Take The Moneyâ hit #3 at Alternative Radio. Ahead of the album release, The New York Times put out a piece that called Bleachersâ new music âanthemic life-affirming pop-rockâ. Five-time GrammyÂź Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Jack Antonoff, is the creative force behind Bleachers.
